We remain committed to steadily moving forward under a two-pronged management style, contributing to the sustainability of both the planet and our business, in order to provide people around the world with daily beauty products rooted in our aesthetic intelligence--rather than mere daily necessities.
In our business operations, we aim for steady expansion centered on profitable growth, achieving both business development and high margins as set forth in our medium-term management plan.
Last year, SENKA's premium lines contributed to boosting overall brand value by accurately identifying emerging consumer needs in the Japanese market. In overseas markets as well, particularly in China, we renewed the KUYURA body soap line and released other products in line with local needs, while also developing new sales channels. This helped us achieve growth at a rate higher than the market as a whole despite the challenging conditions. In Southeast Asia, we leveraged SENKA's extensive distribution network to strategically introduce brands such as TSUBAKI and fino. Benefiting from market growth over multiple countries and the region as a whole significantly contributed to overall Group performance. Going forward, we will continue to pursue business development in a manner that aligns with the characteristics of each country and region.
In our efforts to promote sustainability, last year, we obtained RSPO Supply Chain Certification and further bolstered our ability to responsibly source palm oil. We also made progress in disclosing information, including the publication of our TNFD report. As a result, we were awarded a Gold Medal sustainability rating from EcoVadis for the third consecutive year, placing us among the top 5% of all companies evaluated. The entire FineToday Group remains committed to contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
2026 will be a pivotal year in our efforts to achieve the targets set forth in our medium-term management plan, which will carry us through to FY2027. We will further pursue profitable growth by boosting sales of existing brands, entering new markets, and improving profitability as we strive to become Asia's number one personal care company. Guided by our Purpose, we will continue to enhance our corporate value in a sustainable manner.
