CEO's Message

We would like to thank you for your continued support of the FineToday Group.

Since our business launch in July 2021, we have been pushing forward to establish autonomous business operations as quickly as possible. 2023 was a particularly eventful year. Beginning with a corporate name change to FineToday Co., Ltd. on January 1, we went on to successfully establish a business system that integrates technological development, manufacturing, and sales through the acquisition of the Kuki Factory in Saitama Prefecture and the Vietnam Factory from Shiseido and the establishment of our own R&D facility in Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo. In autumn, we created FineToday's first new haircare brand, "+tmr," (Plus Tomorrow) and we have renewed our determination to make 2024 and onward a period of even greater achievements.

We at FineToday manage with our Purpose of "enriching the lives of everyone today and for generations to come, one fine day at a time" as the starting point for all of our corporate activities. In addition, we aim to be a company that remains beloved by our children and our children's children 100 years from now. Why do we aim to be a 100-year company? This is because we believe that by pursuing both business operations and the sustainability of the Earth, we will be able to create a world where we can enjoy beautiful, enriching days as indicated by our company name and Purpose, and prosper together with all our stakeholders.

To this end, we will continue to evolve our business operations by developing manufacturing activities based on our sense of aesthetics. As a company operating globally in Japan, China, and the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), we will continue to conduct business with respect for the differing cultures and needs of each region through means such as developing and providing localized products. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to consistently view each market in terms of brands and products, and flexibly incorporate the best practices from each location. All of our roughly 3,000 employees, including everyone from sales and marketing through to factory workers, will work together to deliver daily beauty products that enrich people's everyday lives.

Alongside our business operations, we will continue to do our best to achieve "Fine Today & Tomorrow 2030" as we promote ESG factors. We will continuously provide social and environmental value to all stakeholders in line with the KPIs we have established under the four Ps: Principles of Governance, People, Planet, and Prosperity.

In Japan, a very small percentage of companies have been in business for more than 100 years, so the road to becoming a 100-year company will by no means be smooth. Nevertheless, we will continue to make progress together with all of you as we steadily implement purpose-driven management, combining our business activities with ESG factors as the two core pillars. We look forward to your continued guidance and support.
