Based on the aesthetic intelligence that it has built up through cosmetics, FineToday Group delivers personal care products and services to enrich, encourage, and empower people's minds and bodies.
Its manufacturing facilities strive to manufacture quality products trusted by consumers around the world, by focusing thoroughly on aesthetic intelligence. The Group aims to be able to supply products that meet market needs in each country and region, swiftly, flexibly, and in appropriate quantities, by building an integrated business system encompassing all processes from technological development through purchasing, manufacturing, and sales. Manufacturing facilities play vital roles in this system.
Manufacturing facilities
Fine Today Industries Co., Ltd. got its start with the acquisition of the manufacturing business (the Kuki Factory) of Shiseido Co., Ltd. in April 2023. The acquisition of the Vietnam Factory (Shiseido Vietnam Inc.) has being completed in December 2023.
The FineToday Group is looking to create synergy in the years ahead by creating a two-region manufacturing system that makes the most of the geographical locations and strengths. Working more closely with the new R&D center created in July 2023 will be another area of focus.
These efforts will enable the FineToday Group's comprehensive system of technology development, manufacturing and sales to be used as a way to work on sustainability-oriented business growth through integrated supply chain optimization.

To manufacture high-quality products
By earning certification under the ISO 22716 international standard on quality and safety in cosmetics manufacturing (Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Cosmetics), Fine Today Industries strives to ensure high quality in all of the products it manufactures. Its manufacturing processes involve repeated strict checkpoints that perform sensory analysis by highly experienced staff in addition to testing using precision instruments. This ensures stable quality without overlooking even minor anomalies. The factory interior is zoned by sanitation management level, strictly restricting apparel and headwear worn in and articles brought into each zone.
To lessen environmental impact
Environmental management:
Fine Today Industries has earned certification under the ISO 14001 international
standard on environmental management systems. By running through the plan-do-check-act
(PDCA) cycle based on ISO 14001 requirements, it strives to enhance its environmental
management system and lessen its environmental impact continually. It maintains this ISO
14001 certification through regular review by an outside agency.
It also endeavors to raise awareness of environmental protection through environmental
education and training on various topics for all employees.
Reducing energy use:
Fine Today Industries strives to reduce energy loss in manufacturing activities through
various measures including adoption of a cogeneration system to use heat produced in
generating the power it uses as a source of thermal energy for steam and hot water used
in manufacturing areas. It continues systematically investing in the environment to reduce
energy use and CO2 emissions even more.
Waste reduction:
Wastes produced in manufacturing processes, employee dining halls, and elsewhere are
segregated and stored in an on-site recycling center, where they go through a process of
volume reduction.
Safe and sound working environments
Fine Today Industries identifies and conducts risk assessment for hazards related to workplace facilities, chemicals handled, and work processes. This helps to eliminate hazards and lessen danger on the job. In addition, through learning from case studies on accidents caused by unsafe practices and simulation of structural dangers involved in machinery and equipment, its workers learn about the mechanisms that contribute to workplace accidents and how to prevent them.
Shiseido Vietnam Inc.
Shiseido Vietnam Inc. applies strict manufacturing and quality control,
and has taken steps to ensure its operations are environmentally friendly.
To meet the diverse needs of consumers
Shiseido Vietnam Inc. is working on providing localized products carefully designed to accommodate the needs and climate throughout the APAC region. For example, SVI acquired Halal Certification, and some products have also received the same certification.
