Notice of ISO 45001 Certification Acquisition in FineToday Group's Domestic Manufacturing Facilities
FineToday Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, CEO: Tetsuo Komori) announces that its subsidiary responsible for production functions, Fine Today Industries Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director, CEO: Hiroto Morozumi) has obtained ISO 45001 certification, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems.
ISO 45001 is a globally recognized framework that defines the mechanisms and operations for preventing workers' labor-related injuries and illnesses and achieving the provision of safe and healthy workplaces.
Recognizing that creating a workplace environment where every employee involved in production can work with peace of mind is essential to the stable provision of products that are supported by a diverse range of customers, Fine Today Industries has established its own rules in accordance with occupational safety and health laws and regulations, and is committed to ensuring a safe workplace environment. As part of these efforts, we identify hazard sources arising from workplace equipment, chemical substances handled, the work environment, and work operations, and conduct risk assessments to eliminate hazardous areas and reduce the level of danger. In addition, we provide training that allows employees to learn the mechanisms of occupational accidents and work to prevent their occurrence by simulating the types of accidents and various occupational hazards that frequently occur at production sites.
With the recent acquisition of ISO 45001 certification, we aim to create a safer and healthier workplace environment.

Fine Today Industries, which began operations in April 2023 as the FineToday Group's own production facility, was originally established in 1983 as a flagship factory for Shiseido's personal care products, and has been producing and delivering reliable, high-quality products to customers. In the manufacturing process, as a member of the local community, we focus on reducing environmental impact and establishing a safe and secure workplace environment.
We have automated many processes from supply of raw materials to shipment of products, pursuing high-efficiency production technologies as part of our commitment to next-generation manufacturing, and production is carried out under rigorous quality control, with ISO 22716 certification (an international standard for quality and safety in cosmetics manufacturing) being obtained in 2022. We were also an early adopter of environmentally friendly operations, obtaining ISO 14001 certification (an international standard for environmental management systems) in 1997.
