Against this background, the men's skin care market has grown by 5% year on year.*1 Furthermore, Uno's BB cream Face Color Creator series for men, which went on sale in 2019, has sold more than 1 million products*2 since its release.
The number of male BB cream users is increasing year by year but 53% of men who are aware of BB cream have never used it.*3 Of these, 47% answered that they were "interested in BB cream." Despite their interest, the most common reason for not using BB cream was their resistance to its "color," and men in this category made comments such as, "It would be embarrassing if people thought I was wearing makeup," and "If there's color in it, it might look as if I'm wearing makeup, so I wouldn't use it." Therefore, Uno will release Uno No Color Face Creator, a new colorless BB cream for men, which has no color and does not give the feeling of wearing any cosmetic.
Uno No Color Face Creator is a product for persons who want to make their skin look beautiful but have refrained from trying men's makeup due to their resistance to products with color. With Uno No Color Face Creator, men's skin can look beautiful without any tint. The cream contains W sebum care technology and pore correction powder. W sebum care technology for sebum adsorption and solidification adsorbs sebum from pores, making it less sticky and, at the same time, spreads over the skin and hardens the sebum that is the source of shine, so even men, who tend to have more sebum than women, can keep their skin smooth all day long and cover the shine. In addition, the pore correction powder is a powder with large grains capable of diffusing a large amount of light so that it can cover the large pores of men.
